A hedonistic free spirit. Neither human nor demon, his heart is heavy with self-loathing. He often embarks in reckless and outlandish behavior. He is either extremely selfless or dangerously suicidal.
Dante's father was the demon Sparda. His mother, a human, was killed by demons, and so Dante walks the earth - a demon half-breed an ax to grind and the blood lust to swing it.
Dante's the polar opposite of his cold-hearted father and longs to step out of the black shadow Sparda has cast over his existence. But, on the other hand, he still cannot suppress his conflicted feelings when battling demons. His brother Vergil reminded him of his father, who he both loves and hates.
Dante's liaison. He finds Dante jobs and goes to some strip club to party and get drunk. It was also him that helped Dante find a home/a place to stay.
Rational, yet selfish. He suffers from a self-loathing complex regarding his existence as neither human nor demon. For that reason, he seeks power to validate his existence.
Vergil's father was a demon. His heritage fuels not only his drive, but his pain as well. Vergil's mother was a human. He
is constantly aware of the cancerous human emotions living inside him. His human side serves as a bottomless well of fuel for the rage that dwells inside him.
Vergil also believes that his mother loved Dante more than him, and that the power Dante possesses is rightfully
his.
A demon slayer. Her mission statement is to destroy all demons - even half-breeds like Dante.
Although he is human, he longs to become a demon, and plots while waiting in the wings of Dante and Vergil's battle.
